The MacEwan University Chancellor's Scholarship for domestic students are valued at $5000
Requirements for MacEwan University Chancellor Scholarship Qualification
MacEwan's Automated Entrance Scholarships for domestic students are assigned in the following tiers:
- 95-100% - Chancellor’s Scholarship - $5,000
- 90-94.99% - President’s Scholarship - $3,000
- 85-89.99% - Provost’s Scholarship - $2,000
- 80-84.99% - Dean’s Scholarship - $1,000
NOTES:
- In the Faculty of Nursing, all students who meet the requirements for the Chancellor’s Scholarship will receive one. After the Chancellor’s Scholarships have been assigned, the President's and Provost's Scholarships will be awarded to the students with the next highest admission averages up to a combined total of 30 scholarships across the three tiers for students in this faculty.
- In the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, students may also be selected based on their outstanding audition and/or portfolio.
Interview date, Process and Venue for MacEwan University Chancellor Scholarship
Domestic students entering a degree program directly from high school (including dual credit initiatives) in the Fall term may be eligible for an entrance scholarship based on the program they have selected and their admission average. For the Chancellor's Scholarship, a 95%-100% admission average is required.
Additional Criteria:
- Students must be registered in at least 12 university-level credits per term in each of the Fall and Winter terms of the upcoming academic year, and continue to be enrolled in an eligible program and the minimum credits after add/drop deadline for each term.
- To receive the second disbursement of the scholarship in the Winter term, students must have completed the Fall term with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- In the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, students may also be selected based on their outstanding audition and/or portfolio.
