McMaster University Fall MCE Bursaries for Part Time Students 2024

The Bursaries for Part Time Students will be used to award students one of two bursaries which are described below. These bursaries provide non-repayable tuition and book assistance to part-time students who demonstrate financial need and do not qualify for OSAP or Government Student Aid. This includes students in degree programs AND certificate/diploma programs through McMaster University Continuing Education (MCE).

MAPS Bursary

The McMaster Association for Part-Time Students (MAPS) generously donates the funding for this program. Primarily available to those receiving social assistance, the MAPS bursary program aids those who are economically disadvantaged.

McMaster University Continuing Education Award

McMaster Continuing Education has donated funds to support part-time adult learners who are taking a certificate, certificate of professional learning, and diploma program and who demonstrate financial need.

Requirements for McMaster University Fall MCE Bursaries for Part Time Students Qualification

  • Applicant must be a minimum academic level 1.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in a Certificate or Diploma program.
  • Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
  • Applicant must be enrolled.
  • Applicant must be a current student.
  • Applicant would like to be considered for need-based aid
  • Applicant must be an MCE student.

Interested and qualified? Go to McMaster University on mcmaster.awardspring.ca to apply
