Established in 1977 in memory of Dr. A.I. Johnson by his friends and former colleagues. To be awarded to a student in Level 4 of a program in Engineering and Management. Award to be based on distinguished academic performance during the student's undergraduate career. Consideration will also be given to noteworthy contribution in extracurricular activities.

The successful selected applicant for the A.I. Johnson Scholarship will be awarded $1,500.00
Requirements for McMaster University The A.I. Johnson Scholarship Qualification
- Applicant must be academic level 4.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate.
- Applicant must be enrolled in Bachelor's, Co-op, Honours, or Honours Co-op program.
- This award is specific to students in an Engineering and Management program.
- This award is specific to students in the Faculty of Engineering.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must have a minimum 18 graded units.
- Applicants must have a minimum 9.5 sessional average.
- Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
