Seneca offers various scholarships, bursaries and other awards based on both academic achievement and financial need. The values of the awards range from $50 to $5,000.
Requirements for Seneca Polytechnic Governors' Entrance Scholarships Qualification
- To be eligible to apply for an award, scholarship or bursary, you must be a Seneca student.
- You must also meet the specific eligibility requirements outlined for each award. For example, scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement. This means that you must meet the minimum grade requirement to be eligible for the award.
- Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. This means that you must meet the requirements for the specific bursary program to be eligible.
- In addition, there are some awards that are open to all students, while some are offered only to students in specific programs.

Interested and qualified? Go to
Seneca Polytechnic on students.senecacollege.ca to apply
- Log into Student Home.
- Select "Apply for Financial Aid" under the "Financial Aid" tile.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon to select the correct academic year. For example, for the fall 2023, winter 2024 and summer 2024 terms, you will need to select the 2023 academic year.
- Fill out all required information.
- Select all your terms of study for the academic year, not only the term you are currently in. If you are receiving OSAP, this should match your OSAP application.
- Complete the budget.
- Read the declaration before agreeing to the terms.
- Submit your application. Once you click submit, you cannot make changes.
- Select the scholarships, awards or bursaries you want to apply for from the list of eligible awards.
- Answer the questions that appear for the specific awards you have selected.
- Upload any additional required documents specified in the application.
- Submit your answers and any additional required documents. Once you click submit, you cannot make changes.
