A.G. & Eliza Jane Ramsden Memorial Scholarships at University of Prince Edward Island 2025

Established through a bequest from Eliza Jane Ramsden in memory of herself and her husband A.G. Ramsden, these scholarships are designed to support Protestant students at UPEI who are in significant financial need. Preference is given to students entering ministry.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be Protestant and provide a letter from a church official confirming affiliation

• Be enrolled full-time at UPEI

• Demonstrate significant financial need

• Preference to students planning to pursue theological studies

Selection Process

Selection Criteria:

• Financial need is the primary consideration

• Academic achievement not a major requirement

• Preference for those entering ministry or with interest in theological studies

• Adjudicated independently by the Ramsden Scholarships Selection Committee

• Personal statement addressing financial need, career goals, and personal circumstances

• Letter from a church official verifying Protestant affiliation
