The AIA Canada High Fives for Kids Scholarship is part of AIA High Fives for Kids Foundation’s commitment to supporting the next generation through education and opportunity. Offered annually, this $1,000 scholarship is designed to recognize and reward well-rounded students who demonstrate academic achievement, personal strengths, and community involvement. Open to the children of employees of Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) member companies in good standing, the scholarship reflects our values of encouragement, empowerment, and giving back—helping students pursue their goals, regardless of their chosen field of study.

Requirements
- Must be a child of a full-time employee in an active Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) member company in good standing (current year’s membership dues must be paid for the applicant to be eligible for this scholarship).
- Confirmation of the parent’s employment must be provided by the AIA Canada member company via an employment confirmation letter.
- The applicant must be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program leading to a certificate or diploma at an accredited university, college or technical school.
- The applicants must submit:
- a completed application form
- a one (1) page essay outlining why they should be considered—highlighting achievements and volunteer experience,
- a letter of reference from a teacher or community member,
- and proof of enrolment to a full-time post-secondary program leading to a certificate or diploma at an accredited university, college or technical school.
- The applicant can submit photos showcasing their activities and accomplishments.
Note:
- Applicants may submit their application in video format; however, proof of enrollment is still required.
- Applicant selection is based on academic achievement (not necessarily in the automotive field), skill, extra-curricular involvement, or special abilities.
- Selected candidates receive a $1,000
