Initial Scholarship: $1,000 applied to student account

Ongoing Support: Additional $1,000 per term (up to $4,000 total) for students who:

Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0

Participate in mentorship or ambassador activities

Stay engaged with co-curricular events
Requirements
- Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Person/ Refugee.
- Applicants must be entering the first year of an eligible skilled trade program of study.
- Applicants must be registered full-time.
- Successful applicants must participate in a minimum of one approved co-curricular activity each term that supports mentorship to prospective students in skilled trades training programs or serve as a skilled trades ambassador at events at the college or in the community.
- Applicants must maintain a minimum of 3.0 grade point average.
- Applications are being accepted for students who will be enrolled in one of the following programs during the 2025 Fall term:
- Building Construction Technician
- Cabinetmaking and Furniture Technician
- Carpentry and Renovation Techniques (Pembroke)
- Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician
- Motive Power Technician
- Motive Power Technician – Diesel Equipment and Truck
- Welding and Fabrication Techniques
Instructions:
- Applicants must add their Social Insurance Number via their ACSIS account in order to be awarded funding.
- Applicants will be required to upload a current resume, listing work and/or volunteer experience, as well as any extra-curricular activities in the community or school.
- Note: short-listed applicants may be invited to an interview held by the selection committee.
