Established by the JSGS Alumni Association in 2021, this award honours the legacy of Anna Krutova, a dedicated public servant and MPA graduate, by recognizing students committed to public service, learning, and community involvement.
$1,000 award
The award will be presented to a University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan graduate student who meets the following eligibility criteria:
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree program in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy;
- Is a fully qualified graduate student;
- Is not holding other graduate funding valued at more than $5,000 at the time the award is presented; and
- Students must submit a 250-word statement highlighting their community involvement and dedication to public service. The statement must also describe the applicant’s financial need. Applicants may submit reference letters that support their community involvement and dedication to public service.
In addition, students will need to upload the following:
