The Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship for Women honors New Brunswick’s first female engineer Lieutenant Governor and supports APEGNB’s efforts to increase female representation in engineering. The $3,000 award recognizes female undergraduate engineering students who demonstrate leadership and serve as role models for other young women considering careers in engineering.
$3,000 CAD
Two awards per year:
One for a student at UNB
One for a student at Université de Moncton
Identify as female
Enrolled full-time in 2nd year or higher of an engineering undergraduate program
In good academic standing
Not eligible if you’ve previously won this award
Selection Crtiteria Includes:
Leadership in university or community
Serving as a role model for young women
Volunteer activities
Academic performance
Completed application form
Official transcript
Résumé (highlighting leadership, community involvement, extracurriculars)
Leadership essay (max 600 words)
Letter of support from a professor

Write a leadership essay (600 words max) detailing your leadership contributions and how you inspire young women to pursue engineering.
Collect and submit the following:
Official transcript
Résumé (include awards, community involvement, extracurriculars)
Leadership essay
Request a letter of support from one of your academic professors.
