Booth University College offers the Canada and Bermuda Territory Salvationist Award to support first-year undergraduate students who are active Salvationists. This scholarship provides a 50% tuition reduction for eligible students from the Canada and Bermuda Territory, recognizing both academic achievement and commitment to faith. Designed to ease the financial burden of postsecondary education, this award continues into subsequent years through the Salvationist Tuition Scholarship, provided academic and eligibility criteria are maintained.
All qualified Canada and Bermuda Territory Salvationist students will receive a 50% reduction in tuition as an award for their 1st year of study at Booth UC.
To qualify for the 50% tuition reduction in the first year of study at Booth University College, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a Salvationist in good standing from the Canada and Bermuda Territory
Indicate “Yes” to Are you a Salvationist? on the Booth UC admissions application
Submit a recommendation letter from their Corps Officer
Have a minimum high school graduation average of 70% (or B-, CGPA 2.7 for transfer students)
Be enrolled full-time, with at least 12 credit hours per term
For continuation of the award in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years through the Salvationist Tuition Scholarship, students must:
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7
Submit a Corps Officer recommendation from a Winnipeg Corps Officer (if studying on the Winnipeg campus)
