The Calgary Black Chambers Nutrien Community Scholarship (supported by Nutrien) was established by the Calgary Black Chambers, a non-profit organization, consisting of individuals working to support diversity in and around Calgary, and to foster the growth of Black culture in Calgary. The Calgary Black Chambers serves as mentors and advocates, fostering the growth of great students and future professionals. Its three pillars are: Mentorship, Scholarship, and Fellowship.

Requirements

• Be a Black Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

• Be a Grade 12 student graduating this year from a high school in Airdrie, Diamond Valley, Calgary, Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, Okotoks, Springbank or Strathmore.

• Be entering first year of a full-time undergraduate degree or diploma program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

• Be studying in the field of agriculture or engineering.

• Demonstrate involvement in community, preferably in the area of environmental sustainability. Provide one reference letter.
