Canadian Wildlife Federation Orville Erickson Memorial Scholarships 2025

At the Canadian Wildlife Federation, our journey has been about creating awareness, education and action for habitat and wildlife. Along the way, we take pride in recognizing the efforts of individuals who strive to make a difference towards this goal. Learn about the scholarship programs we are proud to support. The Orville Erickson Memorial Scholarships are awarded once per year to post-secondary students in the field of conservation. The fund is administered by the Canadian Wildlife Foundation and is financed entirely by private-sector donations in memory of Orville Erickson, a Canadian conservationist and past CWF president.

Benefits

The purpose of the OEMSF is to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in the field of conservation.

1. The amounts may range from $1,000 to $7,000 depending on the scholarship fund and availability in the year.
2. Distribution may be divided into two payments.

Requirements

1. To be eligible, all students must be enrolled full-time in a Canadian post secondary institution.
2. Transcripts are required as proof of enrollment and academic performance.
3. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or the equivalent is required.
4. Up to three references from professors or employers may be attached (500 word maximum).
