The Canadian Caribbean Association of Waterloo Region (CCAWR) offers annual scholarships to support students of Caribbean heritage in their pursuit of higher education. These scholarships are designed to recognize academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership potential among youth and young adults residing in or connected to the Waterloo Region. Whether pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies, eligible applicants have the opportunity to receive financial assistance toward their education and become part of a growing legacy of Caribbean-Canadian achievement and contribution.
Financial Award, paid directly to your educational institution in late September or early October
Must be of Caribbean heritage.
Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a recognized post-secondary institution (college or university).
Must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
Must demonstrate academic achievement.
Must show involvement in school or community activities.
Must reside in or have a strong connection to the Waterloo Region.
