Over the past twenty years the Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards have provided more than $10.5 million to approximately 2,600 Métis students studying at institutions across Alberta. These awards are one of the largest non-governmental sources of student funding for Métis students in Canada.

Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards (BBMAs) support Métis Albertans with scholarships up to $10,000 each year for post-secondary education.
Requirements
- Membership with the Otipemisiwak Métis Government or a Métis Settlement (Note: if you are in process of receiving citizenship or membership you will need to upload a letter saying you have applied for it)
- Alberta Residence and Canadian Citizenship
- Studying in an eligible program at an eligible post-secondary
