EGBC Student Program Scholarship 2025

The Engineers and Geoscientists BC Student Program Scholarships recognize undergraduate students whose volunteer, employment, or personal actions over the past year have enhanced the image of the engineering or geoscience professions. Eight scholarships, valued at $2,500 each, are awarded on the basis of a combination of factors including a student statement (25%), responses to questions about professional characteristics (25%) and advancement of the professions (25%), judges' overall impression of the application (10%), and a reference letter (15%).

Requirements

• Post-Secondary students enrolled in Engineers and Geoscientists BC's Student Program
• Full-time undergraduate students in the current academic year (co-op students are considered full-time students and are eligible to apply).
• Must be attending a BC post-secondary institution or must be a BC resident attending a post-secondary institution in Canada outside of BC.

Selection Process

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a combination of factors including a student statement (25%), responses to questions about professional characteristics (25%) and advancement of the professions (25%), judges' overall impression of the application (10%), and a reference letter (15%).
