FNABC Scholarship Award 2025

The purpose of this award is to assist worthy students who are FNABC members or sons/daughters/grandsons/granddaughters/employees of an FNABC member to further their post?secondary education.

Requirements

Applicants must be:

• Students who are FNABC members or sons/daughters/grandsons/granddaughters/employees of an FNABC member
• Entering into field horticulture, agriculture or a forestry?related field of study
• Planning to enter or returning to post-secondary education within the 12 month period following the application deadline.
• Sponsored by a member of the Forest Nursery Association of BC, and applications signed by the member sponsor

Application Documents

• A brief letter describing your various interests, experience, and reasons you feel qualified for this award.
• A letter of support from an instructor or administrator at your high school or attending educational institution summarizing your academic standing and record. If a high school or attending educational institution support letter is not possible then a letter of reference from a nursery manager, supervisor or grower or past employer with preference given to ones linked to forestry, horticulture or agriculture will be accepted by the FNABC Scholarship Review Committee.
• A copy of your most recent transcripts of previous year’s marks. (Official transcript not necessary)
• Your budget for the year, including anticipated sources of income and expenses (see above template).
