This bursary program supports Nova Scotia-certified teachers who wish to improve their French language skills or pursue pedagogical studies in French. Offered by an external organization, the program provides up to $1,500 per academic year to eligible teachers for approved courses at Université Sainte-Anne or other recognized French-language institutions in Canada.

To be eligible, you must:
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Live in Nova Scotia
Hold a valid Nova Scotia teaching certificate
Be employed or actively seeking employment with a regional centre for education or the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP)
Course Requirements
Courses must be taken at Université Sainte-Anne or a French-language institution in Canada where French is the language of instruction
Courses must be academic or immersion programs designed to improve French language proficiency
Each course must last at least two weeks
