FRQ - Excellence scholarship program for foreign students (pBEEE) (PBEEE) at École de technologie supérieure 2026

These programs are aimed at international students who wish to undertake or continue studies or research activities in Quebec. Nomination is made on the recommendation of a professor from ÉTS.

Benefits

• Master's degree: $20,000/year (max. 2 years)
• Doctorate: $25,000/year (max. 3 years)
• Short research or development stay: $3,000/month (max. 4 months). When submitting their application, the candidate must not be registered with ÉTS.

Requirements

• Not having Canadian citizenship or permanent residence;
• Must not have applied for permanent residence under Canadian immigration laws;
• Obtain a recommendation from an ÉTS professor.

Selection Process

• An internal selection will determine the applications that will be recommended to the FRQ selection committee;
• The pre-selected candidates will then be invited by the FRQ to submit a scholarship application.
