The Ryan "Corby" James Reid Corbin Scholarship was created in memory of a man whose heart was as big as his passion for golf. Ryan, lovingly known as "Corby," spent his life not just as a talented golfer with a sweet swing, but as a mentor, coach, and friend to young athletes all over the world. He believed in the power of golf to shape not only great players, but also great people, instilling values like hard work, integrity, and resilience. These scholarships are a way to carry forward Corby's mission of helping young golfers achieve their dreams. By providing financial assistance for education, access to training and development, and helping to open doors to new opportunities. The Corby Scholarships are meant to lift those who are passionate about the game and want to build a brighter future for themselves. Requirements

• We encourage you to apply for the Ryan “Corby” James Reid Corbin Scholarship if you are a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, and meet either requirement from Column A and all requirements of Column
• A minimum average of 75% in the last two years of high school/CÉGEP and have graduated (minimum Grade 12) or will graduate by June 2024; OR Successfully completed at least one full year in a post-secondary degree program and show a minimum average of 75% in EACH year of the program.
• A successful experience in competitive golf at a regional, provincial or national level prior to application.
• Have been accepted at a Golf Canada Foundation recognized college or university, and have been named, or will be named, to the institution’s golf team.
