• Applicant must be a Black African Nova Scotian student
• applicants must be enrolled full-time in an approved Community College, Private Career College, or Trade School
• applicants must be a graduate of the Nova Scotia school system

Additional Information: 

• this award is available for one year only, unless the course of study is a two year program
• if you are enrolling in a two year program, please note that applicants must apply for funding the following year by submitting an application
• students must submit an application each year to be considered for an award
• second year funding of awards is based on satisfactory academic standing
