 The bursary is worth $2,000

Requirements

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Demonstration of academic proficiency ‘C+’ average or higher.
• Description of financial needs and/or personal challenges
• Proof of registration in a full-time or part-time program at a university, college or a recognized institute of higher learning.
• An essay of 800 words on the topic listed in the bursary package.

Selection Process

• This bursary is open to a GSU member in good standing attending part-time or full time post-secondary education.
• The successful candidate will be selected by the GSU Union Recognition Standing Committee.
• This committee will review all applications that meet the requirements listed above and are received before the deadline.
• The bursary will be awarded based on a combination of academics, financial need and essay.
