This scholarship is open to any high school student in Canada, with preference given to Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents. The criteria for the awards include a minimum 80% average in their senior year of high school, demonstrating financial need, leadership qualities and a recognized initiative in funding their own education.

Benefits
Each award has a program value of $16,000 payable over a four year course of study in the amount of $4,000 per year.
Requirements
- A minimum 80% average after first term of Grade 12, based on university preparatory courses
- Financial need
- A recognized initiative in funding your own education
- Open to any high school student in Canada. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens and/or permanent residents.
Application Documents
To apply, applicants must submit the following:
- Completed Application Form (this form)
- Recommendation letter from a principal, teacher or counsellor which must be on official letterhead and include their telephone number;
- Recommendation letter from an employer, volunteer organization or an individual (non-family) who has known you for at least two (2) years with their telephone number; and
- Personal essay telling us what this scholarship would mean to you, which also outlines your extra-curricular, leadership, financial need, work experience and career plans (two page limit, please)
- Please send your completed application package to the Financial Aid & Awards Office by e-mail ([email protected]). Deadline for receipt of the completed application is MARCH 1.
