HEC Montréal 2024 Arbour Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship awarded to a student who graduated with an average of 75% from his last university program and who is newly enrolled in the MBA program at HEC Montreal.
Students are eligible to receive an Arbour scholarship if they have at least two full semesters remaining in their program at the time of the payment of the first scholarship instalment (one fall and one winter semesters). The Arbour Foundation reserves the right to encourage candidates who have a financial needs and who wish to remain in Quebec after their studies.Recipients who are not fluent in French will also be required to take a free training course offered by the Arbour Foundation in collaboration with the Fondation pour la langue française.

Requirements

Special eligibility requirements

• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident
• Have an excellent university record
• Demonstrates involvement in the community, student associations, or other groups.
• Willing to attend a selection interview
• Register full-time for the next year
• Not have financial support in excess of $30,000 for the year covered by the scholarship (e.g., scholarships, family assistance).

Interview Dates and Process

The following criterion will be used to evaluate application files:

• Academic excellence: 30%
• Social Involvement - Leadership - Entrepreneurship: 30%
• Professional experience: 20%
• Extent of financial need: 20%
