These scholarships are designed to help students finance their research projects or activities related to their field of study (ex.: research internships, supervised project or thesis). 3 scholarship(s) of $5,000.00
Requirements
- Be registered in a Quebec university, at the time the BIR comes into effect, for at least 2 consecutive fulltime sessions or three consecutive parttime sessions in the same undergraduate program of study leading to a bachelor's degree in one of the fields covered by the FRQSC ;
- Have insurance coverage for the duration of my internship (university registration);
- Have never received an FRQSC undergraduate research initiation grant.
Application Documents
Application must include
- A certificate from the Registrar's Office of the academic institution identifying all part-time and full-time sessions completed in the undergraduate program.
- Description of the research initiation project :description of roles and tasks assigned to the intern + his/her student ID (2 pages).
- Schedule of planned activities of the internship + distribution of the 200 hours (1 page).
