The aim of the fund is to promote university teaching and research in the field of French-speaking literature by financing in particular: scholarships for second and third cycle students, research infrastructure, organization of student conferences.

Benefits
- 1 scholarship of $7,000 (Doctoral scholarship, the scholarship is awarded in two installments)
- 2 scholarships of $3,500 (Master’s scholarship, the scholarship is awarded in two installments)
Requirements
- Have undertaken, during the current calendar year, master's studies at Laval University on a research subject whose major component falls within the field of French-speaking literature, OR have undertaken, during the two last calendar years, doctoral studies at Laval University on a research subject whose major component falls within the field of French-speaking literature.
- Be registered full-time at the time of application.
- Not already benefiting from a scholarship whose value equals or exceeds $8,000. Students who apply for a scholarship worth more than $8,000 for the following year are eligible for the Hubert-LaRue scholarship for the current year.
Application Documents
To complete the form you will need:
- A copy of transcripts (Capsule statements are accepted).
- A text of approximately 500 words in length exposing one's interests in research or the reflection that governs the creative process and reporting achievements in research and/or creation.
- A brief curriculum vitae mentioning achievements in research and/or creation.
Important note : Incomplete or late files will be declared ineligible.
