The High School Scholarship, valued at $2,000, is designed to support graduating high school seniors in the Capital Regional District (CRD) who are dedicated to promoting diversity within their communities. Open to students graduating in 2025 from SD61 (Victoria), SD62 (WestShore), or SD63 (Saanich), this scholarship specifically supports those born outside of Canada or whose parents were born outside of Canada—including Permanent Residents, Naturalized Citizens, Canadian-born Citizens, and Displaced Ukrainians. Funded with the generous support of the Canadian International Council, the award is intended for students accepted into a college or university on Vancouver Island who demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusion and multiculturalism.
Successful applicants will receive $2000
All criteria must be met.
High School seniors graduating in 2025 in SD61-Victoria, SD62WestShore, SD63-Saanich
Born outside of Canada or a child of parent(s) born outside of Canada: Permanent Resident, Naturalized Citizen, Canada-born Citizen, or Displaced Ukrainian
Accepted into a college/university on Vancouver Island, and
Demonstrate commitment to promoting diversity in the CRD
