The Bill Messenger Scholarship, offered by the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) in partnership with Indspire, provides financial support to young Indigenous men living in urban areas who are pursuing post-secondary education or training. Selection Process

Applicants are selected based on:

  • Clear demonstration of involvement with the Friendship Centre Movement
  • Academic or training goals
  • Community engagement and leadership qualities

  • Proof of Indigenous identity
  • Confirmation of current or planned enrollment
  • Proof of urban residency in Ontario
  • Personal statement detailing your commitment to the Friendship Centre Movement
