Indspire Bill Messenger Scholarship 2025

The Bill Messenger Scholarship, offered by the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC) in partnership with Indspire, provides financial support to young Indigenous men living in urban areas who are pursuing post-secondary education or training. The award recognizes commitment to the Friendship Centre Movement in Ontario.

Selection Process

Applicants are selected based on:

• Clear demonstration of involvement with the Friendship Centre Movement
• Academic or training goals
• Community engagement and leadership qualities

• Confirmation of current or planned enrollment
• Proof of urban residency in Ontario
• Personal statement detailing your commitment to the Friendship Centre Movement
