The Laura Bassi Scholarship, established in 2018 by Editing Press, provides editorial assistance rather than direct funding to postgraduate students and early-career academics working on neglected or overlooked research topics across all disciplines. The scholarship is awarded three times per year (Spring, Summer, and Winter).

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program OR

• An academic in the first five years of full-time employment

• Research must involve a neglected or unconventional topic within the discipline

• Open to part-time students

• Application must be submitted in English (the manuscript itself can be in English, French, German, or Spanish)

To help defray the Scholarship’s administrative costs, applicants are subject to a voluntary USD 10.00 fee. All first-time applicants who are unable to pay the application fee are welcome to take advantage of the fee waiver option on the application portal. If you wish to pay the application fee in a non-USD currency, please consult the FAQ below for instructions.
