The Laurier Tuition Bursary Program is designed to provide financial support to eligible domestic students by offering tuition assistance based on demonstrated financial need. Students are able to apply for the program each term. The amount awarded may vary term-by-term depending on the number of qualified applicants and funding available.

Requirements
The fall Laurier Tuition Bursary is available to students who meet the following criteria (September to December):
- Citizenship: Canadian citizen, permanent resident (landed immigrant), or a protected person
- Academic Standing: Minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0 (C-)
- Financial Aid:
- Ontario students must have a complete full-time OSAP application and meet one of the following conditions:
- Confirmation of enrolment for the fall term is complete by the bursary deadline or
- officially restricted from receiving OSAP funding
- Out-of-province students are not required to apply for financial aid from their home province, territory, or state
- Fall Enrollment:
- Undergraduate students enrolled in a minimum of 1.5 credits
- Graduate students enrolled in a full-time course load
- Students with an approved reduced course load registration outlined by your accommodation plan with Accessible Learning.
Selection Process
- Recipients will be notified by email by late November
- Bursary funding will be applied directly to the student account by late November.
- Bursary money will not be applied to your account before tuition for the fall term is due; you are responsible for payment of any late fees.

1. Fill out the fall Laurier Tuition Bursary application on LORIS
- If you meet the base criteria, you will automatically receive the application when it opens on LORIS each term
- This application is fall-specific. You must apply for each term you want to be considered

2. Verify that you have a complete financial aid application
Ontario Students:
To qualify for bursary assistance, your full-time OSAP confirmation of enrolment must be complete for the fall term by the bursary deadline.
If you are officially restricted from OSAP funding, you are eligible to apply for bursary assistance. To be considered officially restricted by the program requirements/guidelines of the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security (MCURES), you must:
- Submit a complete OSAP application
- Receive an OSAP assessment confirming your restricted status
If you indicate that you are restricted in your Laurier Tuition Bursary application but have not applied for OSAP, your bursary will be declined.
