Lumine Group 2024 Future Leaders in Business and Finance Scholarship

We believe today’s students are tomorrow's future. With the Lumine Group Future Leaders in Business & Finance Scholarship, we aim to illuminate the potential of these students by supporting them in achieving their academic and career goals. 

In pursuit of encouraging more students that their aspirations are achievable and with the belief of fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion to support the representation of diverse talent within the Business and/or Finance sectors, this scholarship aims to provide support to Canadian students with demonstrated financial need, who belong to racialized groups. Along with the financial bursary, recipients can also benefit from a value-added service. This includes an opportunity for a one-on-one career coaching session with Lumine Group’s Head of Human Resources and/or Director of Talent Acquisition, designed to provide them with additional support on their journey towards achieving their goals.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have shown a commitment to making a positive difference in their community and/or area of study.
• Provide proof of registration in an accredited Finance or Business post-secondary or post-graduate program for the application year's fall semester.
• Self-identify as either, Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC), a person with a disability, a woman, or a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community. 
• Will be attending a Canadian undergraduate or post-graduate institution as of September in the application year.

Selection Process

A completed application will include the following:

• Completed application form
• A brief essay describing why you are choosing to apply (2-3 pages maximum)
• Have shown how you are actively working to make a positive impact within your community
• Self-identify as a student part of a historically racialized group
