Established in 1977 in memory of Dr. A.I. Johnson by his friends and former colleagues.To be awarded to a student in Level 4 of a program in Engineering and Management. Award to be based on distinguished academic performance during the student's undergraduate career. Consideration will also be given to noteworthy contribution in extracurricular activities.

Requirements
- Applicant must be academic level 4.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate.
- Applicant must be enrolled in Bachelor's, Co-op, Honours, or Honours Co-op program.
- This award is specific to students in an Engineering and Management program.
- This award is specific to students in the Faculty of Engineering.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 18 graded units in the current year.
- Applicants must have a minimum 9.5 sessional average.
- Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
