To be awarded to a student who has completed Level 2 of a Software Engineering program who, in the judgment of the Department of Computing and Software, has achieved notable academic standing and demonstrated qualities of leadership at McMaster or in the community.

$5,000. will be awarded to the recipient of the McMaster University CAE Scholarship in Computing and Software Engineering 2025

Requirements

  • Applicant must be academic level 2.
  • Applicant must be an undergraduate.
  • This award is specific to students in a Software Engineering program.
  • This award is not second degree eligible.
  • Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
  • Applicant must be enrolled.
  • Applicant must be a current student.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 18 graded units in the current year.
  • Applicants must have a minimum 9.5 sessional average.
  • Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
