Established in 1994 from a bequest by Doris Verina Avery in memory of her son, Dennis, an alumnus of McMaster's M.B.A. program. Two bursary awards to incoming full-time M.B.A. students. Selection to be done by the M.B.A. Awards Committee, based on an assessment of academic qualifications, extra-curricular and/or professional achievements, and demonstrated financial need.

- Applicant must be a graduate student.
- This award is faculty specific.
- This award is program specific.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must be entering Level 1.
- Applicant would like to be considered for need-based aid.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
