McMaster University Lew-King Li & Yun-Fang Li Award 2024

Established in 2012 by Dr. Shao-Jin Gene Li to honour his parents, Lew-King Li, and Yun-Fang Li. To be granted to a student enrolled in the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine who demonstrates financial need and maintains good academic standing. Preference will be given to students who are new to Canada within the last five years. Applicants must declare their immigrant status.

The financial package of $1,500 will be awarded to the recipient of  the Lew-King Li & Yun-Fang Li Award 

Requirements

  • Applicant must be a graduate or medical student.
  • This award is program specific.
  • This award is faculty specific.
  • This award is plan specific.
  • Applicant must be new to Canada within the last 5 years.
  • Applicant must comply with the bursary regulations noted in the current University Calendar.
  • Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
  • Applicant must be enrolled.
  • Applicant must be a current student.
  • International students are ineligible for this award.
  • Applicant would like to be considered for need-based aid.
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
