Established in 1999 by Marvin Goldblatt in memory of his brother, Abby. To be awarded annually to a graduate student who demonstrates academic excellence in the study of Early Judaism. The award will be made by the School of Graduate Studies on the recommendation of the Chair in Religious Studies.
