Established by Philip F. Connell, B.A. Hon. (Class of ‘46). To be awarded to a student who is enrolled in Level 2 of an Honours Economics program who, in the judgment of the Department of Economics, has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and an interest in the study of ethics. Tenable in Level 4 provided that the recipient maintains a Grade Point Average of 8.0 or greater.

- Applicant must be enrolled in an Honours or Honours Co-op program.
- This award is specific to students in an Honours Economics program.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must have a minimum 8.0 cumulative GPA.
- Applicant must have a minimum 18 graded units.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3 sessional graded units
- Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
