Mount Royal University President's Scholarships 2026

This scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who will be enrolled in the first year of any degree or diploma program in the upcoming fall semester. The student must have applied for admission to a full-time program by February 1 and currently be enrolled in an appropriate Grade 12 program of studies or be a recent graduate (within the immediately preceding calendar year). A student with previous post-secondary education will not be considered. Students who receive a Chancellor’s Scholarship are not eligible for the President’s Scholarship.

$7,500 - two disbursements (half in Fall and half in Winter) 21 student from Alberta, 3 Students outside Alberta and within Canada and 1 International Student

Selection Process

1. Academic achievement – initial selection will be based on top two Group A subjects. Student is required to have an overall average of 80 per cent on the five appropriate grade 12 subjects for their program.
2. Extracurricular activities – evidence of leadership as demonstrated through extracurricular and community activities and contributions
