Mount Saint Vincent University Undergraduate Entrance Bursary 2026-2027

These bursaries, ranging from $500 – $2,500 each, are offered to students entering their first undergraduate degree (including transfer students). Undergraduate Entrance Bursaries are non-renewable, non-transferable and are limited in number.

Requirements

To be eligible for the MSVU Undergraduate Entrance Bursary, students must meet all of the following criteria:

1. Be accepted to MSVU for the upcoming academic year and starting in the next Fall term;
2. If a domestic student, must have, or intend to have by August 12, either a government student loan, bank funding or band sponsorship (a follow-up Confirmation of Need form will require proof of this funding);
3. Be enrolled as a full-time student in both the upcoming Fall and Winter terms (minimum 3 courses per term).

How To Apply

Students must complete the following steps:

• Apply for an undergraduate degree
• Complete the 2026-27 Undergraduate Entrance Bursary application (PDF)

Students approved to receive an Undergraduate Entrance Bursary will be mailed a Confirmation of Need Form to the address that was included on their Entrance Bursary Application. In order to receive their bursary, students must forward their Confirmation of Need Form, along with proof of government loan, bank funding or band sponsorship (proof must include student name) to the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid by August 12, 2026 at 4:00 pm.

Once these documents are received, the first half of the bursary will be applied to the Fall term and the remaining half will be applied to the Winter term.
