President's Gold Scholarship at Wilfrid Laurier University 2026

The President’s Gold Scholarship is a merit-based entrance scholarship awarded to students with an entrance average of 95% or higher. This scholarship is also renewable in your upper years, if you meet the renewal requirements.

Benefits

The scholarship is worth $4,000 for domestic students and $6,000 for international students.

Requirements

• If your final admission average is 95% or higher as of July 2026, you will be awarded the President’s Gold Scholarship for your first year at Laurier. 
• This scholarship is renewable in your upper years if you achieve an annual grade point average (GPA) of 10.5 or higher based on the completion of a minimum of 5.0 full credits during the past academic year. The renewable scholarship amount is $4,000 (domestic) or $6,000 (international) per year for four years (or up to five years for some programs).
• Students who receive the President's Gold Scholarship are not eligible to receive in-course scholarships. See the full eligibility requirements to maintain your President’s Gold Scholarship.
