The Seminary Full-Time Student Scholarship is designed to support students enrolled full-time in graduate-level seminary programs at Providence Theological Seminary. With a limited number of awards available each year, the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic commitment and meet full-time study requirements. Successful applicants will receive their award during the winter term, and recipients are notified two weeks before the semester begins.
Scholarship award varies
Must maintain a minimum Accumulated Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 2.5
Must be a full-time student (at least 9 credit hours per semester)
Must be enrolled in a degree program at the seminary
Must meet the criteria for enrollment at Providence
Academic merit (minimum AGPA of 2.5)
Full-time enrollment (9+ credit hours)
Enrollment in a recognized seminary degree program
Limited scholarships available — not all applicants will receive an award
Completed scholarship application form
Confirmation of full-time course registration (typically handled internally)
Transcripts or academic records to verify AGPA (may already be on file if currently enrolled)
Complete the Seminary Full-Time Student Scholarship application form (available through Providence’s scholarship portal or Registrar's Office).
Submit the application by August 5.
Wait for notification — recipients are contacted two weeks before the semester starts.
The award is applied during the winter term of the academic year.
