The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) 2025 Scholarship Program offers 24 scholarships to support both PSAC members and their dependent children pursuing post-secondary education. These awards recognize academic ambition and creative engagement with social issues, with application options including essays, videos, songs, or infographics. With scholarships available for full-time and part-time students, as well as those who self-identify as part of equity-seeking groups, the program emphasizes inclusion, solidarity, and proactive union values.
Scholarships worth $4000
Must be a PSAC member in good standing as of March 31, 2025, or a dependent child of a PSAC member in good standing.
Dependent children must be planning to attend full-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in fall 2025.
PSAC members themselves may apply if they will be:
Registered in full-time studies, or
Registered in part-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution in fall 2025.
Five scholarships are specifically for members or dependents who self-identify as any of the following:
Woman
Indigenous
Person with a disability
Racially visible
2SLGBTQIA+
Applicants must submit an original creative work (essay, YouTube video, infographic, song, etc.) addressing this year’s scholarship question.
All submissions must be original, under five minutes in length (if applicable), and must cite sources to avoid plagiarism.
