Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors Bachelor of Education Awards 2025

Saint Dunstan’s University had a proud tradition of fostering and supporting higher education. Since Saint Dunstan’s University closed its doors in 1969, the SDU Board of Governors has been very supportive towards UPEI. It is in this spirit that the SDU Board of Governors has established the Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors Education Awards for UPEI students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program

These are non-renewable $3,000 awards and SDU is providing five awards per year.

Requirements

• Completed their full secondary education at a Prince Edward Island high school
• Are enrolled full-time in undergraduate degree studies in the UPEI Faculty of Education
• Are Roman Catholic
• Submit an official transcript of undergraduate study
• Submit a personal letter relating the intention to remain on PEI and contribute to fields within the discipline of education
