The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) supports exceptional early-career scholars through its Postdoctoral Fellowship program. This competitive award provides funding to advance research in the social sciences and humanities, allowing fellows to deepen their expertise, broaden their networks, and make significant scholarly contributions at a Canadian institution.
$45,000 CAD
Applicants must:
Have completed or expect to complete a PhD between Sept 2021 and Sept 2025
Not currently hold or have held a tenure-track position
Not have previously received SSHRC postdoctoral funding
Propose a research program in SSHRC-eligible disciplines
Secure a supervisor and host department at an eligible Canadian university
