St. Francis Xavier University Daniel and Margaret O'Brien Scholarship 2024

This scholarship is open to all 1st year full-time undergraduate students, must be Irish Catholics who exhibit leadership ability, energy, good will and service to his or her fellow man.  A minimum average of 85% is required.  This award can be held in combination with any StFX award.  Open to students from the Atlantic provinces.

The Daniel and Margaret O'Brien Scholarship is valued at $3,000 for one (1) year only.

Requirements

To be considered, you need to:

• Apply to StFX and submit a first-term Grade 12 transcript by March 1 AST.
• You must submit your transcript(s) for admissions consideration by March 1 AST.

Please know that is is not required to have an admissions decision by March 1 AST.

Interview Dates and Process

Major scholarship eligibility is based on final marks for the five Grade 12 courses used to meet admission requirements for your program.  Please note that final Grade 11 equivalent subject marks may be used in the interim to calculate the average.

Students who have applied and been accepted to an undergraduate program will be advised, via email, of scholarship results in April.
