The BBPA National Scholarship Program (NSP) is designed to support Black Canadian students pursuing post-secondary education. The program is run by the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA), a non-profit organization that promotes the professional and economic growth of Black Canadians.
This annual scholarship program is open to Black Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program at a Canadian college or university. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and community involvement.
The BBPA NSP offers several scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $7,000
To be eligible for the BBPA National Scholarship Program, applicants must:
Be a Black student who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (or have applied for permanent residency or a student/work visa).
Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
Be between 17 and 30 years old at the start of the academic year (September 2025).
The selection process for the BBPA National Scholarship Program is rigorous and competitive.
