The scholarship for Northern Infrastructure was established specifically to encourage and recognize undergraduate students who showed a special interest in their career path, volunteer activities, work experience and/or community leadership, in equipping the North with infrastructure that would open up new opportunities for economic development and make northern communities more livable and sustainable.
The Canadian Academy of Engineering comprises over 800 Fellows who have made outstanding contributions to engineering in Canada and around the world. They have demonstrated their dedication to the application of science and engineering principles to advance social, environmental, economic and technical solutions. One $2,000 grant or honorarium will be awarded in 2025 for each scholarship/award.
Applicants will be judged on academic and leadership achievements, answers provided in the application form and intent to pursue a career towards the development of infrastructure in the North.
Please ensure that the documents are submitted in the method stated in the application. Any other methods of submission will not be accepted.
