This scholarship program is sponsored by The Canadian Academy of Engineering and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), through the generous support from friends of the late William G. Belfry. Mr. Belfry was a long-time member, exemplary leader and exceptional engineer within the SAE and its Central Ontario Section. This scholarship was established to honour his passion for life, his leadership skills, and his dedication to the service of others

Benefits

One $2,000 grant or honorarium will be awarded in 2025 for each scholarship/award.  
 

Requirements

Applicants will be judged on academic and leadership achievement, essay content, and their intent to pursue a career in mobility engineering. The application must include a recommendation from a previous employer and/or faculty staff member.
