This scholarship program is sponsored by The Canadian Academy of Engineering and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), through the generous support from friends of the late William G. Belfry. Mr. Belfry was a long-time member, exemplary leader and exceptional engineer within the SAE and its Central Ontario Section. The Canadian Academy of Engineering comprises over 800 Fellows who have made outstanding contributions to engineering in Canada and around the world. One $2,000 grant or honorarium will be awarded in 2025 for each scholarship/award.
Applicants will be judged on academic and leadership achievement, essay content, and their intent to pursue a career in mobility engineering. The application must include a recommendation from a previous employer and/or faculty staff member.
Please ensure that the documents are submitted in the method stated in the application. Any other methods of submission will not be accepted.
