The purpose of the award is to provide financial support and recognize the academic achievement of a current Toronto Metropolitan-registered doctoral student enrolled in the Joint Graduate Program in Communication & Culture whose research is in study of new media and/or the making of new media works

Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
OR
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicant must be a registered doctoral student in the Joint Graduate Program in Communication & Culture
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
- Applicant must be a resident of Ontario.
- Applicant must be a graduate student
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time.
- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.67 or higher.
- Applicant must be registered with Academic Accommodation Support.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicant must be a registered doctoral student in the Joint Graduate Program in Communication & Culture
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
- Applicant must be a resident of Ontario.
- Applicant must be a graduate student
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a reduced course load.
- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.67 or higher.
- Applicant must have an approved accommodation for a reduced course load.
