Toronto Metropolitan University International Student Leadership Award (ISLA) - Winter 2025/26

ISLA - Winter, formerly known as the International Student Winter Merit Scholarship (ISWMS), is for international undergraduate students. It is subject to availability. Applicants must be starting their first year of a full-time four-year undergraduate degree at TMU in January 2026. It's for students who do well academically, volunteer, join clubs and show leadership qualities.

Benefits

The ISLA - Winter 2026 has a value of $10,000. The possible number of recipients is up to 20 students. This award is entrance-only and is non-renewable.

Requirements

• You must be an international student starting your first year of a Canadian post-secondary institution on a full-time basis.
• You must have a final admission average of at least 85%, an A, or an equivalent.
• A personal statement is required for submission.
• If a gap year was taken, it may be no longer than one academic year.
