Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
OR
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Professional Communication.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time.
- Applicant must be registered with Academic Accommodation Support.
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Professional Communication.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a reduced course load.
- Applicant must have an approved accommodation for a reduced course load.
Interview Dates and Process
To be eligible for this award, a student must be enrolled full-time in the undergraduate program of the School of Professional Communication, must have a clear academic standing, and must have successfully completed CMN 323 with a grade of at least A-. Submit an electronic portfolio consisting of:
- A CV/ résumé demonstrating your commitment to community and volunteer work
- Supporting evidence for the CV/ résumé (maximum two), such as a letter from an employer, a letter of acknowledgement, etc.
- A 2000-2500-word letter to the committee that: a. Outlines why you are the most appropriate candidate for this award b. Articulates an understanding of professional communication and the role of ethics in an organization
